artist statement : Colin Hovde

Colin Hovde has been taking pictures for the last six years. He has no formal training in photography, but his background comes from theater, and this training influences his photography in many ways.

Often looking for a story within the image he has taken pictures all across the country, in Italy, France, Thailand, Taiwan, China, and Macau. His work has been printed in The Washington Post, The Washington Times, American Theater Magazine, various websites, and soon will be appearing in O Magazine.
